About registration:

1. Registration:

1. The Grand Prix BitS 2025 is a digital decarbonization campaign promoted by Ecomiles in partnership with BitS 2025 Brasil and will take place from October 29th to November 16th, 2025.
2. Ecomiles is a reward-based decarbonization platform. Using the Ecomiles app offers exclusive benefits to users who commute: on foot, by public transportation (bus/subway/train), bicycle, electric bicycle, flex or electric vehicles according to eligibility criteria.
3. Registrations are non-transferable. No participant has the right to make their account available to third parties.
4. Ecomiles reserves the right to refuse or revoke the registration of any participant at any time and/or disqualify any individual from the event if any of the rules in these regulations are not observed.
5. User registration must be completed by downloading the Ecomiles app on their mobile devices with a corporate or personal email.
6. Ecomiles and BitS 2025 Brasil reserve the right to postpone or cancel the event edition
7. Users who already have a registration in the app with their corporate email will be automatically enrolled in the Grand Prix BitS 2025. Those who do not join by the campaign start date may still participate throughout it, but will not have additional days of trip computation to validate disadvantage.

2. Campaign Duration

Trips made from 05:00 on 10/29/2025 and lasting until 23:59 on 11/8/2025 will be validated as points—or Ecomiles—by the app in the edition's overall ranking.

3. Scope

The use of the platform and the rules described in these regulations are exclusive to delegates of BitS 2025 Brasil.

4. About trip validation and permitted modes for the edition:

The permitted modes for this edition are:

1. The permitted modes are: i. Walking ii. Bicycle/electric bicycle iii. Subway and metropolitan train iv. Municipal or chartered bus v. Electric vehicles upon prior registration vi. Flex vehicles with proven ethanol fueling
2. The amount of Ecomiles accumulated for each mode respects the conversion rate of methodologies and calculation of avoided carbon according to an article that can be consulted here.
3. Proof of the trip made with an electric vehicle or flex vehicle fueled with ethanol is based on monitoring the geolocation of the participating user through the Ecomiles app.
4. To ensure a valid trip, it is important to grant permission for the app to access the device's geolocation set to "All the time" or "While using the app".
5. Validated Ecomiles are determined by the distance traveled, as well as by the addition of Ecomiles from any challenges proposed by the organization during specific campaign periods
6. Users who submit trips for ethanol-fueled or electric modes must register the vehicle (in both cases) and proof of fueling in the app (only for flex vehicles).
7. Ecomiles reserves the right to reject trips submitted by participating users if the algorithms adopted for validation are unable to accurately measure the trip taken.
8. All trips are valid according to Ecomiles validation rules. That is, use of the app is not restricted only to home-work commutes.
9. Throughout this campaign period, the scoring of trips validated in Ecomiles is subject to change based on gamified dynamics in the app, which do not impact the calculations of avoided carbon emissions, that is, they are only applied for engagement purposes in the competition.

5. About ranking and prizes:

1. The ranking is updated instantly as a trip is validated. The summary view will show only the top 10 positions and a summary of the participant's position while the Grand Prix BitS 2025 is ongoing. The position achieved by the participant will determine the event prize, distributed as follows:
1. 1st to 5th place: € 20.00
2. 6th to 10th place: € 10.00
2. Payment of prizes will be made to the Gift wallet of BitS 2025 transfwerfise, provided the eligibility criteria described in these regulations are met.

6. ELIGIBILITY FOR REWARDS

1. Trips made by fossil fueled car will not be eligible for rewards for all BitS 2025.
2. Only participating BitS 2025 Brasil delegates who register approved trips according to the app rules will be eligible for the prize.

7. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION

1. In case of need for processing information related to an identified or identifiable natural person ("Personal Data"), Ecomiles and BitS 2025 Brasil will comply with laws involving the protection of Personal Data and privacy, especially the rules and guidelines contained in the General Personal Data Protection Law - Law 13.709/18 ("LGPD"), as well as all subsequent regulations that provide for privacy and protection of Personal Data in Brazil that may be issued by the National Personal Data Protection Authority.
2. Any form of processing, including but not limited to access, use, collection, production, reception, classification, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, archiving, storage, elimination, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction and sharing of Personal Data will be authorized and limited to what is strictly necessary. The use of Personal Data for any other purposes is prohibited.
3. Ecomiles undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of Personal Data, ensuring that access is strictly limited to those individuals involved in its processing.
4. BitS 2025 Brasil will not have access to trips taken from particular delegates

8. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. These regulations may be amended and/or the project suspended or canceled, without prior notice, due to force majeure or any other reason beyond its control. It is the duty of participants in using the app to:i. Act in accordance with the law, not engaging in illegal acts of any nature.ii. Act and demonstrate correct and ethical conduct in carrying out activities, not placing themselves in risky or suspicious situations.
2. Participants declare awareness of these Regulations and assume all obligations described, with no legal or contractual impediment to carrying out the operations provided for herein. If any of the requirements of these regulations are not met, or in case of doubts, discrepancies or suspicion, evidence of fraud or bad faith by participants, which in any way violate the objectives and rules of the project and these regulations, BitS 2025 Brasil is entitled to exclude participants, regardless of sending any notification, without receiving prizes.
