Campaign Duration
Routes completed from 10:00 AM on 10/22/2024 and lasting until 11:59 PM on 11/05/2024 will be validated as points—or Ecomiles—by the application in the edition's general ranking.
About Coverage
This edition is exclusive to Pluxee employees selected for the pilot campaign, as described in the validity period above.
About route validation and permitted transportation modes for this edition:
The permitted modes for this edition are:
- Walking
- Bicycle/electric bicycle
- Metro and metropolitan train
- Municipal or chartered bus
- Electric vehicles with prior registration
- Flex-fuel vehicles with verified ethanol fueling.
The amount of Ecomiles accumulated for each mode follows the conversion rate of methodologies and calculation of avoided carbon as per the article that can be consulted here.
Verification of routes completed with an electric vehicle or flex-fuel vehicle fueled with ethanol is based on monitoring the participating user's geolocation through the Ecomiles application.
Validated Ecomiles are determined by the distance traveled, as well as by the addition of Ecomiles from any challenges proposed by the organization during the campaign period. Users who submit
Users who submit routes using ethanol-powered or electric modes must register their vehicle (in both cases) and submit proof of refueling in the app (only for flex-fuel vehicles).
Ecomiles reserves the right to reject routes submitted by participating users if the algorithms adopted for validation are unable to measure the route taken accurately.
Routes started before the start date and time or finished after the end time and date of the edition will not be counted, even if the route began within the campaign period.
About ranking and rewards:
The ranking is updated instantly as a route is validated. The summary view will show only the top 10 positions and a summary of the participant's position while the Pluxee Grand Prix is in progress.
