Ecomilhas on the road to B Corp certification

Today we take an important public step: Ecomilhas has formally started its journey toward B Corp certification, the international seal awarded by B Lab to companies that combine profit with measurable social and environmental impact.

Our purpose, now official

As part of the process, we have formalized and published our purpose statement:

“Ecomilhas exists to accelerate the decarbonization of everyday mobility, turning every low-carbon trip into a real reward. By verifying and rewarding journeys made by bike, public transport, carpooling, ethanol and electric vehicles, we reduce companies’ Scope 3 emissions with auditable primary data — contributing to the fight against the climate crisis while generating income for workers and measurable value for organizations.”

Why B Corp certification?

Our business is born out of impact: every tCO₂e we help avoid is measured, verified and auditable. B Corp certification takes that commitment beyond the product — into governance, our team, the community and the environment. There are 7 impact topics and dozens of performance requirements that we will meet and report on with the same transparency we demand from Scope 3 data.
